WHO WE ARE We are members of the newly approved Switzerland Chapter #0914 of the Institute of Management Accountants. Our goals for the Swiss chapter are to facilitate continued professional education, network with like-minded colleagues, and share latest news and best practices in management accounting. All prospective members must be approved by website administrator (Nina Michels-Kim, currently serving as chapter secretary / contact person) before joining. If you are an IMA member and/or CMA living in (or near) Switzerland and are interested in joining the chapter, please apply!

CMA Exam Format Changes

What do you think of the changes to the CMA exam format and contents? I personally am supportive of CMA narrowing its focus and updating the topics, including more emphasis on IFRS, etc. What is great is that the changes come at the same time that IMA has updated its logos and has adopted a new, modern look in general. XBRL CH Day on October 22nd

All,

This information comes from the speaker of our upcoming CPE evening on November 16th. He will be giving us a general overview on XBRL at the CPE evening, but, if you would like to know more detailed information on XBRL, then you might be interested in attending the Swiss XBRL Day in Zürich on October 22nd.
